After a short stint on the test servers, PUBG Corp has released two new crates into the live build of the game that introduce a variety of weapon skins for the first time.
The game previously had several boxes that dropped clothing items of varying rarity, some free to open while others required a 2$ key. The weapon skin cases follow the same format with a free case known as the Triumph Crate and a paid crate called the Triumph crate. The downside however is that weapon skins are account specific, meaning unlike clothes when a player drops their weapon it will take up the skin set by the current user, not the previous owner of the weapon in game.
To celebrate 1 year of PUBG they have also released a commemorative SCAR-L skin as well for all users that log in for a few days!
